Gonzaba Medical Group only uses the best and most cutting-edge technologies available for comprehensive on-site medical services, such as imaging and radiology services, as well as diagnostic testing.

Listed below are further details of the radiology and imaging services our center provides:

  • MRI – Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) takes pictures of your internal organs, muscle tissues, and the functioning of organ structure by using a machine that produces a high magnetic field and radio waves. The result from an MRI help the doctor diagnose your health condition and prescribe the appropriate treatment options for you.
  • CT Scan – A computed tomography (CT) scan merges a sequence of X-ray data collected from various angles throughout your body using a high-performance computing machine to construct cross-sectional images, known as slices, of your bones, arterial system, and the surrounding soft tissues. It’s especially beneficial to promptly screen individuals who may have sustained internal injuries as a result of vehicle collisions or other physical trauma. CT scans can observe virtually every region of your body and can help diagnose illnesses or internal physical trauma, as well as what proper treatment or procedure is best for you.
  • Ultrasound – Ultrasound, often known as sonography or diagnostic medical sonography, is a type of imaging that employs high-frequency sound waves to capture the function of your internal structures. The scans can be used to accurately diagnose a range of diseases and chronic conditions, including pregnancy monitoring, blood flow analysis, thyroid gland evaluation, metabolic bone disease, and other internal examinations.
  • Vascular – Vascular imaging is a diagnostic imaging technology that enables doctors to see and evaluate your internal organs, such as blood vessels and organs like heart chambers, arteries, and veins. This screening is beneficial to diagnosing heart disease.
  • Mammography – Even if a woman has no concerns or issues with her breasts, doctors strongly recommend that women undergo a routine mammogram every year. Two X-Ray images of each breast are obtained to identify or analyze any abnormalities so that breast cancer can be detected and prevented in its early stages.
  • X-Ray – An X-Ray is a photographic or digitized depiction of your internal structure, primarily a region of your body that is causing discomfort from trauma or disease. The X-Rays pass through the observed region of the body and soak up varying degrees by different materials.
  • Bone Density Scan – An evaluation that uses X-rays or a CT scan to determine the density of minerals in your bones, particularly calcium.
  • Echocardiograms – Sound waves are used to create images of your heart in an echocardiogram. Your doctor can watch your heart beating and pumping blood with this testing procedure. Echocardiography can be used by your doctor to detect heart problems.
