Chronic pain can be treated holistically using integrating psychodynamic, cognitive behavioral and mindfulness-based therapies tailored to each patients’ needs. Our Transformative Pain and Wellness Program provides innovative, proven, and pioneer treatment options for patients suffering with chronic pain.

Our program is facilitated by Dr. Lourdes Pizaña, Ph.D., L.P.C. She is a licensed psychotherapist and specializes in chronic pain management. She utilizes techniques with scientifically proven effectiveness including:

Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT)

CBT helps you become aware of inaccurate or negative thinking so you can view challenging situations more clearly and respond to them in a more effective way. CBT can be an effective tool to help anyone learn how to better manage stressful life situations.   

Mindfulness Based Therapies

Mindfulness based therapies uses mindfulness strategies to help individuals better understand and manage their thoughts and emotions in order to achieve relief from feelings of distress.

Psychodynamic Therapy

Psychodynamic psychotherapy is a form of depth psychology, the primary focus of which is to reveal the unconscious content of a client’s psyche to alleviate psychic tension.
