Adelfa is very passionate about her art, and she has been crocheting since she was 12 years old! Through Gonzaba’s rummage sale she has been able to sell her scarves, hats and blankets. The Gonzaba Event Center has also introduced her to new friends from all around San Antonio. She tells us, “Gonzaba is always there for us. They’re there for us in the clinics and the event centers.”
In 2017, Dr. William (Bill) Gonzaba, our CEO and founder, wanted to dedicate a whole month to recognizing the city’s senior community. September was named Celebrate San Antonio Seniors month– a month to spotlight the accomplishments and contributions made by the senior community.
